Harold ChapelWith decades of practiced experience in medicine to his credit, Harold L. Chapel, MD, FACC, excels as a cardiologist with Banner Health, where he started in 2002. Additionally, he serves as a presenter in the field and maintains a number of hospital affiliations with surrounding centers, including Banner Fort Collins Medical Center, East Morgan County Hospital, McKee Medical Center, North Colorado Medical Center, Ogallala Community Hospital and Sterling Regional MedCenter. Dr. Chapel’s interest in medicine was piqued as a young child after witnessing a family tragedy and from there on, he was determined to aid others through medical struggles.

An expert in his field, Dr. Chapel holds an MD from the University of Colorado Denver. Subsequently, he completed a residency in internal medicine at Creighton Affiliated Hospitals and a fellowship in cardiology through the University of Tennessee Medical Center. Throughout his career, Dr. Chapel furthered his knowledge of the field through certifications in internal medicine, cardiology, advanced heart failure and cardiac transplant, nuclear cardiology and geriatrics.

To remain abreast of changes in the field, Dr. Chapel maintains affiliation with the American College of Cardiology, where he is also a fellow, the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, the American College of Physicians and Phi Beta Kappa. With a plethora of knowledge at his disposal, he has contributed to various articles in medical journals, including the New England Journal of Medicine and the Journal of the American Chemical Society. Looking ahead, Dr. Chapel intends to experience the continued growth and success of his career.
